2023年4月16日，上海大学上海美术学院院长曾成钢向上海美术学院宝武校区设计负责人、gmp合伙人兼执行总裁玛德琳·唯斯女士颁发了特聘教授的聘书。上海美术学院副院长王海松、副院长程雪松、建筑系主任刘勇等，以及 gmp事务所合伙人兼执行总裁吴蔚等出席了此次聘任仪式。

On April 16, 2023, Zeng Chenggang, Dean of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts Shanghai University, presented a letter of appointment as a Distinguished Professor to Magdalene Weiss, chief architect of Baowu Campus of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Executive Partner of gmp. Wang Haisong and Cheng Xuesong, vice dean of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts Shanghai University, Liu Yong, head of department of architecture, and Wu Wei, Executive Partner of gmp, and others also attended the appointment ceremony.

在当天的聘任仪式上，曾成钢院长回顾了上海美术学院宝武校区的项目历程：2021年6月30日，项目正式启动。根据“保留历史塑造未来”的设计思路，新的美院主校区将在宝武型钢厂的工业遗存上建设一座长约一公里、总面积达22万平方米的新型美术学院，它没有围墙，与城市无缝衔接，提升城市能级和城市品质。

At the appointment ceremony that day, Dean Zeng Chenggang reviewed the project history of the Baowu Campus of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts: On June 30, 2021, the project was officially launched. According to the design idea of "preserving history and shaping the future", the new campus will be built on the industrial remains of Baowu type steel factory for a length of about one kilometer and with a total area of 220,000 square meters. It has no walls and is seamlessly connected with the city and improves the city's level and quality.

2022年6月30日，“云上一公里”正式上线，项目基于gmp完成度极高的建筑虚拟模型，线上展示了上海大学上海美术学院2022届毕业作品。

2023年5月19日，上海美术学院宝武校区项目将参与“UMBAU·改建”，作为七个涉及现代主义建筑遗产的21世纪的改建案例之一，在威尼斯绿色沙龙展厅展出。

On May 19, 2023, the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts Baowu Campus project will participate in "UMBAU Reconstruction", as one of seven projects by gmp as precise case studies of conversion practices from the 21st century dealing with the architectural heritage of the Moderne movement, it will be exhibited in the Salone Verde  in Venice.

聘任仪式结束后，玛德琳·唯斯女士应邀在上美讲堂分享了以“对话式设计 ：国际建筑——当地认同 ”为题的报告。现场建筑系学生就讲座内容积极提问并交流看法。

After the appointment ceremony, Madeleine Weiss was invited to share a report titled " Designing in Dialogue International Architecture – Local Identity" in the Lecture Hall. Students of architecture department asked questions and exchanged views on the lecture content.
